What we collect is small, and what you type into the generator never leaves your device.

The short version
- What you type into the estimate and invoice generator stays in your browser. It is never sent to us.
- If you join the waitlist, we store your email address so we can tell you when the app launches.
- We measure how the site is used with PostHog, without cookies.
- We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t run ads.
The generator
The generator runs entirely in your browser. Your business details, customer details and line items are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device, so they’re there next time. They are not uploaded. Clear your browser’s site data, or press “Start over”, to remove them.
Waitlist
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the page you joined from, the trade page (if any), whether you were on iPhone, Android or another device, and the date. It is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1). We use it only to email you about NailQuote’s launch and major updates, such as Android. Every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Analytics
We use PostHog to count page views and a few actions: starting the generator, downloading a PDF and joining the waitlist. This tells us which pages are useful. PostHog is set up with in-memory persistence, so it does not set cookies or store an identifier on your device; each visit is counted separately. PostHog receives standard request information such as your IP address, browser, operating system and the page’s address. We don’t send your email or anything you type into the generator to PostHog.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Your choices and rights
To remove your email from the waitlist, or to ask what we hold about you, email[email protected]. We’ll act on it within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights under local law, and we’ll honour them.
Children
NailQuote is a business tool and is not aimed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we’ll also email the waitlist.
